Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Campaigns Dashboard

  • From the main navigation menu, click Campaigns to open the Campaigns dashboard.

2. Start Creating a New Campaign

  • Click the Create Campaign button. This button is available in the left sidebar and at the top right of the dashboard.

  • A modal window titled SELECT PLAY will appear, showing available campaign templates.

3. Choose a Campaign Template

  • Select the Cold outbound template (or another template as appropriate for your campaign).
  • The template will be highlighted once selected.

4. Select Audience Source

  • In the SELECT AUDIENCE SOURCE modal, choose Find new leads to source new contacts for your campaign.

  • Click Continue to proceed.

5. Access the Audience Filters Panel

  • The campaign setup screen will load, displaying the Audience Filters panel on the left.

  • Locate the Contact Details section in the Audience Filters panel.

6. Expand the Contact Details Section

  • Click directly on the Contact Details text (not the arrow icon) to expand the section.

  • All available fields will become visible: Job Title, Match Exact Job Titles, Exclude Job Title, Department, Seniority Level, Job Change, and University Name.

7. Configure Contact Details Filters

a. Add Job Titles

  • Click into the Job Title field and type a job title or keyword (e.g., “Marketing Manager”).

  • Select the appropriate suggestion from the dropdown to add it as a chip.

  • The selected job title will appear as a chip in the field. The preview pane on the right will update to show the number of leads found (e.g., 161,044 leads in this example).

b. Match Exact Job Titles (Optional)

  • Check the Match Exact Job Titles box to restrict results to only the exact job titles entered.

c. Exclude Job Titles (Optional)

  • Enter job titles to exclude in the Exclude Job Title field, if needed.

d. Select Department

  • Click the Department dropdown and select one or more departments (e.g., Marketing).

  • The selected department(s) will appear as chips in the field.

e. Select Seniority Level

  • Click the Seniority Level dropdown and choose the desired levels (e.g., Manager, Director, VP). The default is “Any seniority.”

f. Filter by Job Change (Optional)

  • Click one of the Job Change options (Last 30 Days, Last 60 Days, Last 90 Days) to filter contacts by recent job changes.

g. Add University Name (Optional)

  • Enter a university name in the University Name field and select from the suggestions. Repeat for additional universities as needed.

8. Review and Verify Audience Preview

  • The preview pane on the right will update in real time to show the number of leads found and a list of matching contacts. For example, “669,775 Leads found” may be displayed.

  • If no audience is shown yet, the message “A preview of your audience will appear here” will be displayed.

9. Save or Proceed

  • At the bottom right, you will see Save as draft and Next buttons.
    • Click Save as draft to save your current filter configuration without proceeding.
    • Click Next to continue building your campaign after configuring Contact Details.

Troubleshooting

  • Contact Details section does not expand:

    • Click directly on the “Contact Details” text again.
    • If the section still does not expand, refresh the page and retry.
  • No leads found or preview not updating:

    • Double-check your filter criteria for overly restrictive combinations.

  • System errors or unexpected behavior:

    • Refresh the page and repeat the last step.
