How to Forward an Email from the Output Section in 11x.ai
Overview
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for forwarding an email to an individual from the Output section in 11x.ai. By following these steps, you can share an existing email thread with another recipient, including optional context or notes. The process ensures the correct message is forwarded and allows you to verify successful completion.
Prerequisites
- Access to the 11x.ai platform with permission to view and interact with the Output section
- At least one contact with an email thread in the Output section
Step-by-Step Instructions

Navigate to the Output Section
- In the left-hand menu, click Output to open the Output section.

Locate the Contact
- In the Output table, find the contact whose email you want to forward. You can use the search bar or scroll through the list.
- In this example, the contact is “Frederik Maris”.

Open the Contact Side Panel
- Click the Information Request status (or the far-right side of the contact’s row) to open the contact’s side panel.

Initiate the Forwarding Process
- In the side panel, ensure the Sequence tab is selected (it is selected by default).
- At the bottom of the side panel, click Reply to a message.

Select the Forward Action
- In the compose modal that appears, click the dropdown in the upper-left (it defaults to Reply to email #1).

- From the dropdown, select Forward email #1 (or the appropriate message number if forwarding a different message).

Enter Recipient Details
- In the To field, type the recipient’s email address. You may add multiple addresses if needed.

- The forwarded message should now appear in the contact’s Sequence timeline.

Troubleshooting
- Cannot find the contact:
- Use the search bar at the top of the Output table to search by name, company, title, or email.
- Dropdown does not show ‘Forward email’:
- Ensure you have clicked the correct message thread. Only sent or received emails can be forwarded.
- Send button is disabled:
- Make sure you have entered at least one valid recipient email address in the To field.
- No confirmation after sending:
- If the modal does not close or you do not see the forwarded message in the Sequence timeline, refresh the page and check again. If the issue persists, contact your system administrator.
Success Criteria
- The intended recipient receives the forwarded email with the original thread and any accompanying note.
- The forwarded message appears in the contact’s Sequence timeline in the Output section.
- The Output interface returns to its normal state after sending, confirming the process is complete.
