How to Move a Campaign into a Folder
Overview
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for moving a campaign into a folder within the 11x platform. Organizing campaigns into folders helps streamline campaign management and improves navigation. By following these steps, you will be able to move one or more campaigns into a designated folder and verify the move was successful.
Prerequisites
- You must have at least one campaign and one folder available in your Campaigns dashboard.
- You need permission to manage campaigns and folders.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Navigate to the Campaigns Page
-
From the main navigation menu on the left, click Campaigns to open the Campaigns dashboard.

2. Select the Campaign(s) to Move
-
Locate the campaign you want to move in the list.
-
Click the checkbox to the left of the campaign name. The bottom action bar will appear, showing available actions.
-
To move multiple campaigns at once, select additional checkboxes as needed.

Tip: The action bar at the bottom will indicate how many campaigns are selected (e.g., “1 campaign selected”).
3. Open the Move to Folder Modal
-
In the bottom action bar, click the Folder button. This opens the “Move to Folder” modal, displaying a list of available folders.

4. Select the Destination Folder
-
In the modal, click the row of the folder you want to move the campaign(s) into. The selected folder will be highlighted.
-
Confirm the folder name and campaign count to ensure you are selecting the correct destination.

5. Confirm the Move
-
Click the Move button at the bottom right of the modal to confirm moving the selected campaign(s) into the chosen folder.

-
The modal will close, and you will return to the Campaigns dashboard.
6. Verify the Campaign Has Been Moved
-
Check the folder list to confirm the campaign count for the destination folder has increased (e.g., “Test” folder now shows 3 campaigns instead of 2 in this example).

-
Click the destination folder to open it and view its contents.
-
Confirm that the moved campaign(s) now appear in the folder’s campaign list.

Troubleshooting
- Cannot select campaign: Ensure the campaign is not already inside the destination folder or restricted by status.
- Folder not listed: If the desired folder does not appear, check if you have permission to access it or create a new folder using the + Create New Folder option in the modal.
- Move button disabled: Make sure you have selected both a campaign and a destination folder.
- Campaign not visible after move: Refresh the page or re-open the folder to update the campaign list.
Success Criteria
- The selected campaign(s) appear in the destination folder’s campaign list.
- The folder’s campaign count updates to reflect the move.
- No error messages are displayed during the process.
By following these steps, you can efficiently organize your campaigns into folders and verify that your changes have been applied successfully.
