How to Resume a Paused Campaign in 11x
Overview
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for resuming a paused campaign in the 11x platform. By following these steps, you will be able to locate paused campaigns, resume them, and verify that they are active. Screenshots are included to illustrate each critical step and expected outcomes.
Prerequisites
- You must have permission to manage campaigns (“Manage Campaigns” permission).
- At least one campaign must be in a paused state.
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Navigate to the Campaigns Dashboard
- From the main navigation menu on the left, click “Campaigns” to open the campaigns dashboard.

-
Filter Campaigns by Status
- At the top of the campaigns table, click the “Any Status” dropdown to open the status filter options.
- In the dropdown, select “Paused” to filter the table to only show paused campaigns.

-
Locate and Select the Paused Campaign
- The campaigns table will now display only campaigns with a Paused status.
- Find the campaign you want to resume. In this example, the campaign is “Targeted Outreach for Software Sales Leaders”.
- Click the campaign name to open its details page.

-
Resume the Paused Campaign
- On the campaign details page, locate the “Resume Campaign” button in the upper-right corner.
- Click “Resume Campaign” to initiate resuming the campaign.

-
Verify the Campaign is Active
- After clicking “Resume Campaign”, the button should change to “Pause Campaign”.
- The campaign status may still show as “Paused” briefly while the system processes the change, but you should see activity indicators such as contacts with statuses like “Researching” or “Pending Approval”.
- The sourcing progress bar will also indicate active sourcing (e.g., “911/1,036 (88%)” in this example).

- Tip: If the status does not update immediately, wait a few seconds and refresh the page.
Troubleshooting
-
“Resume Campaign” button is missing or disabled:
- You may not have the required “Manage Campaigns” permission. Contact your administrator to request access.
-
Campaign does not appear after applying the “Paused” filter:
- Refresh the campaigns dashboard and reapply the filter.
-
Status does not update to active immediately:
- Wait a few moments and refresh the campaign details page. System processing may take a short time.
Success Criteria
- The campaign’s details page displays the “Pause Campaign” button (indicating it is now active).
- Contacts within the campaign show active statuses (e.g., “Researching”, “Pending Approval”).
- The sourcing progress bar updates to reflect ongoing activity.
By following these steps, you can reliably resume a paused campaign and confirm it is active in the 11x platform.
