How to Verify and Review Template Mode Configuration in a Campaign

Overview

This guide explains how to verify whether a campaign is using “Template Mode” for its messaging configuration in the 11x Alice platform. It also details how to navigate the campaign settings and messaging sections to confirm the template setup. This documentation is based on a real example and includes illustrative screenshots for each major step.

Prerequisites

  • You must have access to the 11x Alice platform with permission to view and edit campaigns.
  • The campaign you wish to check should already exist in the system.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Campaigns List

  • From the main dashboard, click Campaigns in the left-hand menu to open the campaigns list.

9. Check for Template Mode

  • In the Campaign Messaging section, look for the Template Mode button. This indicates the campaign is using Template Mode for its messaging configuration.

  • If Template Mode is selected, you will see the email sequence and can review the email templates being used.

10. Review the Email Sequence

  • Review the email sequence steps and content. In this example, the first email has the subject and body “hello email 1”.

  • There is no dropdown or field labeled “Template M”; instead, the system uses a toggle between “Alice AI” and “Template Mode”.

Verification and Success Criteria

  • Success: You have confirmed that the campaign is using Template Mode for its messaging configuration.
  • There is no explicit “Template M” dropdown or field; instead, the presence of the Template Mode toggle and the ability to edit email templates confirms the campaign is using a template-based approach.
  • The email sequence and content should match your expectations for the campaign.

Troubleshooting

  • Cannot find Template Mode: If you do not see the Template Mode button, ensure you are in the Messaging tab of the campaign editing interface.
  • No template field in Settings: The current system may not use a named template dropdown (such as “Template M”). Instead, it uses a mode toggle between “Alice AI” and “Template Mode”.
  • Changes not saving: Make sure to click Save Campaign after making any edits in the messaging configuration.
  • Unexpected campaign configuration: If the campaign does not match the expected setup, verify you have selected the correct campaign and have the necessary permissions to edit it.

Additional Notes

  • The steps and screenshots in this guide use the campaign “JUSTIN TEST FOR TEMPLATE ISSUES” as an example. Your campaign names and content may differ.
  • The absence of a “Template M” dropdown is expected in the current version of the platform; use the Template Mode toggle to manage template-based messaging.
