Viewing the Full Sequence for an Individual Contact in Output

Overview

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for viewing the full communication sequence for an individual contact in the Output section. You will learn how to locate a contact, open their detailed sequence timeline, and review all outbound and inbound messages, including sentiment labels and timestamps. This process helps you track engagement and manage follow-ups efficiently.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Output section with at least one contact listed
  • The contact you wish to review must have activity in the system

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Output Section

    • From the main navigation menu on the left, click Output under the “Campaigns” section.

  2. Locate the Desired Contact

    • Use the search bar above the Output table to find a contact by name, company, or email (optional).
    • You can also use the filter dropdowns (“Campaign”, “Status”, “Activity”) to refine the contact list (optional).
    • In this example, the contact “Frederik Maris” is visible in the list.

  3. Open the Contact’s Sequence Timeline

    • Click anywhere on the row of the desired contact. This will take you to the campaign page if the contact is associated with a specific campaign.
    • On the campaign page, locate the same contact in the list and click their row again to open the side panel with detailed information.
    • In this example, clicking “Frederik Maris” in the Output table leads to the “Ammar Outbound Campaign April” page, where the contact must be selected again.

  4. Review the Full Sequence Timeline

    • The side panel will open on the right, displaying the contact’s details and the “Sequence” tab by default.
    • Scroll through the sequence timeline to review:
      • Outbound steps (e.g., emails sent)
      • Inbound replies
      • Sentiment labels (e.g., “Information Request”)
      • Timestamps for each message
      • Full message content, including subject lines and email bodies
    • In this example, you can see the full conversation between “Alice” and “Frederik Maris” with all relevant details.

  5. (Optional) Explore Additional Tabs and Actions

    • Click the Research tab in the side panel to view additional insights about the contact.
    • Use the Reply to a message box at the bottom of the side panel to send a response directly from this view.
    • To close the side panel, click the X in the top-right corner or click outside the panel.

Verification and Success Criteria

  • The side panel for the selected contact opens and displays the full sequence timeline.
  • You can see all outbound and inbound messages, sentiment labels, timestamps, and message content.
  • (Optional) You can reply to messages or view additional research insights from the same panel.

Troubleshooting

  • If clicking a contact row does not open the side panel:
    • Ensure you are clicking on the correct row in the Output or campaign contact list.
    • If redirected to a campaign page, locate and click the contact again in the campaign’s contact list.
  • If the sequence timeline is empty:
    • Confirm that the contact has activity (sent or received messages) in the system.
  • If filters or search do not return expected results:
    • Clear all filters and try searching again using different keywords.

Tips

  • Use filters to quickly narrow down large contact lists.
  • Review sentiment labels to prioritize follow-up actions.
  • Use the reply feature in the side panel to maintain context while responding.
