Accessing and Reviewing Salesforce Integration Settings in 11x.ai

Overview

This guide explains how to access and review the Salesforce integration settings within the 11x.ai platform, particularly when troubleshooting the “Cannot proceed with the integration” error after entering Salesforce credentials. It covers navigation to the relevant settings and highlights the distinction between actions performed within 11x.ai and those that require Salesforce administrative access.

Prerequisites

  • Administrative or integration management permissions within 11x.ai
  • Access to the Salesforce integration within your 11x.ai account
  • (For full troubleshooting) System Administrator access to your Salesforce instance (for steps outside 11x.ai)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to Settings in 11x.ai

  • From the main dashboard, locate the left-hand navigation menu.

  • Click Settings at the bottom of the menu.

2. Access the Integrations Tab

  • In the Settings area, locate the top navigation tabs.

  • Click on Integrations to view all available integrations for your account.

3. Locate the Salesforce Integration

  • On the Integrations page, find the Salesforce integration card.

  • A green dot next to Salesforce indicates that the integration is currently connected.

  • The Configure button is available for further settings or troubleshooting.

4. Review and Troubleshoot the Integration

  • Click the Configure button on the Salesforce card to access integration settings (not shown in screenshots, but this is the next logical step).
  • Here, you can review the domain and connection status.
  • If the integration is connected (green dot), the connection is active. If you encounter the “Cannot proceed with the integration” error, further troubleshooting may be required within Salesforce itself.

Important: External Salesforce Troubleshooting

  • Most troubleshooting steps for the “Cannot proceed with the integration” error (such as verifying API permissions, user profiles, and domain settings) must be performed directly in Salesforce by a System Administrator.
  • Within 11x.ai, you can only review and update the connection settings; you cannot modify Salesforce-side permissions or policies from this interface.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

  • Integration shows as connected but error persists:
    • The issue may be related to Salesforce user permissions, API access, or domain configuration. These must be checked in Salesforce Setup by an administrator.
  • Cannot access Configure button:
    • Ensure you have the necessary permissions within 11x.ai to manage integrations.

When to Seek Help

  • If you have confirmed the integration is connected in 11x.ai but still receive errors, contact your Salesforce administrator to verify:
    • The integration user has API access enabled
    • The correct Salesforce domain is used
    • There are no IP or security token restrictions
    • Connected App policies are correctly configured

Success Criteria

  • You have navigated to the Salesforce integration settings in 11x.ai
  • The Salesforce integration shows a green dot (connected status)
  • You can access the Configure screen for further review
  • For persistent errors, you have escalated to a Salesforce administrator for further investigation

Additional Notes

  • The screenshots in this guide illustrate the navigation and expected interface within 11x.ai. Your account may display different integrations depending on your setup.
  • For full resolution of integration errors, collaboration with your Salesforce administrator may be required.
