Assigning a Hot Lead to a Campaign
Overview
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assigning a hot lead to a campaign in the 11x platform. By following these steps, you can ensure that engaged leads are properly routed to the appropriate campaign for further outreach or follow-up. The process includes identifying a hot lead, selecting a campaign, and confirming the assignment. Screenshots are provided for each major step to help you verify your progress.
Prerequisites
- You must have at least one engaged (hot) lead available in the Hot Leads view.
- There must be at least one campaign available to assign leads to (campaigns may be in any status, such as Active, Paused, or Draft).
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Navigate to the Campaigns Dashboard
- From the main navigation menu, locate and click on “Campaigns” to open the Campaigns dashboard.

-
Open the Hot Leads View
- In the left-hand menu, click on “Hot Leads”. This will display a list of all engaged leads that are ready for further action.

- Tip: If you see a message such as “No engaged leads yet,” allow more time for sourcing and return later.
-
Select a Hot Lead
- In the Hot Leads list, locate the lead you wish to assign to a campaign. Click on the lead’s name (e.g., “Tyler Rehfield” in this example) to open the lead’s details panel on the right side of the screen.

-
Assign the Lead to a Campaign
- In the lead details panel, click the “Assign to Campaign” button. This will open a modal window with a list of available campaigns.

- Note: Campaigns may be in various statuses (e.g., Paused, Active). You can assign leads to any listed campaign.
-
Select the Target Campaign
- Click on the campaign you want to assign the lead to (e.g., “Sherwood CSV test” in this example). The campaign will be highlighted.
- At the bottom of the modal, click the “Add to [campaign name]” button to confirm the assignment.

-
Verify the Assignment
- After confirming, the lead details panel will update. Look for a button such as “View in Campaign” or a campaign label in the lead’s details. This indicates the lead has been successfully assigned to the selected campaign.

- Success Criteria: The lead now displays the assigned campaign in their details. You may also see a “View in Campaign” button.
-
(Optional) Assign Additional Hot Leads
- Repeat steps 3–6 for any other hot leads you wish to assign to campaigns.
Troubleshooting
- No Engaged Leads: If the Hot Leads list is empty or shows “No engaged leads yet,” wait for more leads to be sourced and check back later.
- Campaign Not Listed: If you do not see the desired campaign, ensure it exists and is not archived. Try refreshing the page.
- Assignment Not Reflected: If the campaign assignment does not appear after confirmation, refresh the Hot Leads view or check the campaign directly.
- Error Messages: If you encounter an error during assignment, note the message and try again. If the issue persists, contact your system administrator or support team.
Additional Tips
- You can filter or search the Hot Leads list to quickly find specific leads.
- Campaign statuses (e.g., Paused, Active) are shown for reference but do not prevent assignment.
- Use the “View in Campaign” button to quickly navigate to the campaign and review all assigned leads.
Summary
Following these steps ensures that your hot leads are efficiently assigned to the appropriate campaigns, enabling targeted follow-up and improved campaign management. Always verify the assignment to confirm success before moving on to the next lead.
